Ersari Rugs are made by the Ersari Turkoman tribe and they are dyes such as vegetable dyes are used to give the rich colors. Ersari Rugs do come in a wide array of patterns and colours, to be sure, however they often have red as a primary colour and the most common pattern design is the octagon-shaped elephant-foot. This finely woven piece is 70 to 75 years old it's very good condition. |
